About Ukrainian
Ukrainian is written in the Cyrillic alphabet from left to right. Compared with Russian it has Ґ (hard g), Є (ye), І (i) and Ї (yi), and it does not use Russian ё, ъ, ы and э. The letter Г is a soft "h" sound. The apostrophe is used as a separator, as in м’ясо (meat).
