Online Korean Keyboard – Type in Korean Instantly

All Keyboards is a free online Korean keyboard with the standard Dubeolsik (2-set) layout: type the letters of a syllable one by one and they join into a Hangul block automatically – ㅎ ㅏ ㄴ becomes 한. You can also speak Korean, then copy, download, share or translate your text.

How to Use the Korean Keyboard

  1. Consonants left, vowels right. On the Dubeolsik layout the consonants are on the left half of the keyboard and the vowels on the right: r → ㄱ, k → ㅏ.
  2. Letters join into blocks. Type a consonant and a vowel and they join: r k → 가. A consonant after it becomes the final consonant: r k s → 간.
  3. Shift for double consonants. Shift + r → ㄲ, and also ㄸ ㅃ ㅆ ㅉ ㅒ ㅖ.
  4. Type by voice. Click the microphone and speak Korean – your words appear in Hangul (works in Chrome and Edge).
  5. Save or share your text. Use the toolbar to download, copy, print, share on WhatsApp or by email, or translate your text.

How to Join Consonants and Vowels to Make Korean Words

Korean letters (jamo) are not written in a row like English – they are grouped into a square syllable block: a first consonant, a vowel, and sometimes a final consonant (batchim).

About the Korean Language

Korean (한국어) is a Koreanic language, the language of South Korea and North Korea. It is written in Hangul (한글), an alphabet created in the 15th century by King Sejong the Great and often called one of the most scientific writing systems in the world: the shapes of the consonants show the position of the mouth, and the vowels are built from a dot and lines standing for heaven, earth and people. Korean puts the verb at the end of the sentence (저는 물을 마셔요 – "I water drink").
